hrm. while it doesn't say opus 1 on the parts, the key order is the same as that of the published set opus 1 as recorded on LP, and not the same as that of opus 7; German Wikipedia -does- claim that opus 1 was first published in 1777 in London; and the parts do say 1806-1807. Not unknown for composers to go back and revise earlier works in manuscript, sometimes publishing the results, sometimes (Mendelssohn) not even finishing the revisions...
