As to there only being two movements
and ending somewhere it didn’t begin, not unknown at the time of composition but making one wonder... wondering if
- 1.contemporary accounts of performances exist that mention a third movement or more
- 2.there is such among his papers or even in a copy of the sonata in someone's possession (outside of libraries which do not, aside from the LoC and UNC Chapel Hill which is a copy of that at LoC anyway... ?, seem to have this work?? - not sure.) -- Eric 15:42, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
