symphonies by Taubert: symphony in F op. 69 from the 1840s (1846 according to Dörffel), symphony in B minor op.80 1851, symphony in C minor 1856 (a.t. Dörffel) op.113 (a.t. WorldCat). Wikipedia mentions a 4th symphony, which makes me curious- possibly after 1881 (where Dörffel ends his coverage of the Leipzig Gewandhaus concerts- or perhaps sym 4 was never played there) or something else. Was still being performed as late as 1891 (p437, Bd 87 NZM records a performance in Sondershausen September 13 of that year) Eric 19:12, 14 July 2011 (UTC) (unless the 4th symphony noted above is also in B minor- NZM just gave key, not opus number, I believe.)
