||Adapted from the Trio Sonata in B-flat major, H.587
This sonata is listed in the Breitkopf catalogue of 1763 where the instrumentation given is bass recorder, bassoon and continuo. It seems that this is a hybrid of H.588 (for bass recorder, viola and continuo) and the arrangement given above (for viola, bassoon and continuo). Anyone interested in reconstructing the Breitkopf version could easily do so by putting the two together.
