User talk:Baroqueviolin

Hi Baroqueviolin, Are you the typesetter (Y. Yalçin) of the violin part for Brahm's Symphony No.4 that you just uploaded? I seem to recall you did some typesetting, so I was just checking. Thanks, Carolus 16:07, 15 April 2009 (EDT) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)

Ulvi Cemal Erkin

Dear Baroqueviolin, Do you have permission in writing from the composer's estate to upload his work here? As he died only in 1974, all of his music is under copyright in Canada and the EU. It is probably all under copyright in the USA as well. Please respond to this as soon as possible. If you don't respond soon, we'll have to delete the item you uploaded. Hello, I removed some empty work pages, as we usually do not host pages without scores on them. If you wish to upload scores to those pages, just drop me a note on my talk page and I will restore the pages. Thank you. --Leonard Vertighel 13:43, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your scores, however there were two wrong things with your posts!

  1. You are creating duplicate pages - and we prefer to keep our entries consolidated.
  2. The Malipiero edition is not public domain, and cannot be uploaded here without the permission of the copyright holder. Please refrain.-- Snailey Talk to Me Email me 00:54, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Violin Concerto, Op.8 (Karłowicz, Mieczysław)

Hello Baroqueviolin, the violin part of the Concerto you've uploaded has been edited by Antoni Cofalik, ©1994. According to the preface there are changes in fingering and articulation compared with the edition it is based on. Hence it's under copyright and has been deleted accordingly. Sibley Uploads

Dear Baroqueviolin, Please use the "Sibley" link to upload files from this collection. Otherwise they will not be properly listed in the special category we have for Sibley Scores, which is part of our arrangement with them. Thanks, Carolus 06:53, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
