User talk:Frupert1

Dear Frupert1,

You recently submitted a file to Violin Concerto in E minor, RV 273 (Vivaldi, Antonio). The file you submitted was a recent arrangement, edition, engraving or typeset, in which there is possible copyright although the original composer might be in the public domain. This file will not be accessible and will be deleted in 24 hours or less as a possible copyright violation unless you declare yourself to be the typesetter, provide written permission by the copyright owner to distribute this file on IMSLP, or proof that the file was released under one of the Creative Commons or similar licenses. Please read this page for more information about copyright on IMSLP. You can provide an answer here by clicking on 'edit' tab located at the top of this page.

Thank you.
Best regards,

New submissions

Hi Frupert1. The most recent files you tried to submit were not actually uploaded to the IMSLP server, because the filenames you had them under on your computer were the same as the ones already uploaded here - so you actually ended up just creating new links to the same old files. Were you trying to upload new versions of the parts you'd submitted before? If so, it is probably less messy to click on the little 6-digit number underneath the download link to a file (e.g., #110500) and go from there to the link 'Upload a new version of this file'. That will take you to another page that will allow you to select the new version of the file from your hard drive. If you were trying to upload different parts (i.e., to your arrangement), I would recommend renaming the files to something different. Thanks, KGill talk email 01:41, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
