Licenses

Hi Po0ncho, and thanks for contributing! One thing: due to the statutes of many countries, it is impossible for a new work to be injected directly into the public domain. Therefore, IMSLP requires that all new compositions be submitted under a Creative Commons license. (You can read more at their website.) It's further recommended to select 'Attribution Non-commercial 3.0', as this legally prevents people from selling your work on a site like Ebay without your permission (which happened to another composer who uploads his works here a few months ago). In any case, please select one of the Creative Commons licenses when uploading your works in the future. Cheers, KGill talk email 01:05, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Dear Po0ncho, The Rosas piece you uploaded appears to be a new typeset done in Sibelius. is this your own work? Please let us know as soon as possible since we delete unattributed typesets as potential copyright violations in 24 hours if there is no response from the uploader. Thanks, Carolus 02:21, 30 July 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)
