Since the entries for librettist and language do not appear when empty, the Not Applicable is unnecessary. Also, we only use "language" in vocal works. Thanks-- Snailey (_@/) Talk to Me Email me 21:39, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Public Domain

Please do not change copyright to public domain! It's up to Maarten Smit what copyright he chooses to put on his work ;) Thanks, BKhon 21:47, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Sorry I'm still trying to work this site! I don't know how to upload scores yet. I thought it'd be easier for it to be public domain so we could all access it

Public Domain is one of two license types allowed on IMSLP. Works that are not public domain yet can be released under a creative commons license (as mr. Smit has done) and can be accessed similarly.-- Snailey (_@/) Talk to Me Email me 21:49, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
It's okay. If you go to the "Composer's name" under the "browse scores' section there will be a link called "Add new composer". You can use this to upload a new composer. If you want to add a piece to a composers page you can click the link in that composers page that says "Add a piece to this composer page". Just follow the directions from there. The best project you can do right now (if you want to contribute) is the Sibley Mirroring project which can be found here. Also: if you put four ~ at the end of what you are typing, your username and time will appear. It's fairly useful. Good luck again, BKhon 22:04, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Grr, too many rules. Thanks Bkhon... i'll start trying to use Sibley! Maybe I'll even upload my own works! Big help, thanks! Scarter

Try not to make category pages for people not in public domain in Canada (since that's where the IMSLP servers are located), otherwise it will be deleted. Thanks, BKhon 23:43, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi Scarter, since he died in 1962, he's under copyright in Canada and therefore can't be uploaded here. As a general rule, anything by anyone who died less than 50 years ago is off limits on IMSLP. Thanks, KGill talk email 23:45, 5 August 2010 (UTC)

Whoops, BKhon beat me to it...sorry! KGill talk email 23:45, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
