Die Partitur des Werkes ist seit der Absage des Draeseke-Musikfestes in Liegnitz, 1942, verschollen. Die IDG hat den Komponisten und profunden Draeseke-Kenner Wolfgang Müller-Steinbach mit einer Rekonstruktion des Orchestersatzes betraut. Diese rekonstruierte Fassung wird voraussichtlich noch 2013 im Musikverlag Florian Noetzel, ars musica, Wilhelmshaven erscheinen. Grundlage der Rekonstruktion ist der hier bereitgestellte Klavierauszug, SLUB Dresden, Mus. 7099-B-501.

  • Seems to be quoted by/quotes? one or more of the chamber works - maybe his clarinet sonata Op.38 (which itself has a violin sonata version), maybe another work. Hrm. (Not a complaint; those are, I think, very lovely works...) - Schissel
    • Not the clarinet sonata- I think the work it quotes/paraphrases at length (or the other way around...?) is one in particular: the scene for violin and piano in G minor, Op.69 (we don't have it here, but it's on the same (fine) Draeseke Society CD as both versions of the clarinet sonata, hence maybe my confusion...) -- ah. But since the Scene was composed in 1899, the quotation/paraphrase runs the other way... (see Scene.)
