Misc. Notes Autograph means in the composer's own hand (holograph would mean signed autograph. Many people on this site see eg "by Bach" or "by Rolla" and think Bach signed that copy himself, forgetting that any of his copyists, or a later one, would traditionally write exactly the same...) So do we know this copy is "composer's " autograph?
