Publisher identification needs guessing - probably New York, uses plates with F.M., most probably the original edition from 1854 if the cover (with 1854 marked) belongs to the inside. Not sure which publishers active in New York in the 1850s used F.M. for plate prefix? From the cover of opus 27: F.M. stands for (the initials of) Frederick Meyer, of Buffalo: Meyer & Tretbar, suggesting that this may have been the publisher of opus 28 as it was of opus 27.
