Possibly his (her?) birthplace was in Hungary rather than or in addition to their surname? (Journals in the early 19th century mention people from, and a battle of, Raab often- and a couple of composers with that last name but only occasionally Josef/Jos. HMB starts mentioning Jos./Josef(ina) Raab around 1840, it seems (and a Raab, no personal name, somewhat earlier), but with a double-digit opus number, so that if it's the same person, opus 4 might be an earlier, not a 1905 work; they did compose for guitar so this is in the realm of the conceivable.)
