Heinrich Ludwig Vetter (fl. 1780-1819)

- According to Dorothea and Michael Jappe, he initially played oboe in a military band. Later he was concertmaster in the employ of the Prince of Homburg in Ahnalt. From around 1800 he lived in Hanau, where he died in 1819. He wrote a number of compositions for the viola d'amore, and those extant are preserved at the National Library of Portugal in Lisbon.
