  • His students included violinists Bronislav Gimpel (1911-79) and Maximilian Lewinger (1870-1908), and academic Adam Soltys (1890-1968).
  • His brother Chuna (1851-1924) was a cellist and operetta composer.
  • His son Bronislaw (1883-1944) was a conductor.
  • His nephew Josef Wolfsthal (1899—1931) was a concert violinist.
