the Millet publication revised in 1913 from which I've been drawing items seems to have been seriously retitled too- I think the original 1894 title was Half hours with the Best Composers, not The universal library of music : graded masterpieces in pianoforte compositions (the 1913 title, posthumously). Some of the works, e.g. Rogers' op.31 Romanza, may have received their first publication in the first edition of Klauser's several-volume book Half hours... , not that first publication precludes editorial intervention (qv W Hill's string quartet, though that example is posthumous.)
