Category: Music Drama

I'm thinking of maybe creating a new category "Music Drama" (or the German equivalent used by Wagner, which I need to look up), especially for Wagner operas, since they really defy any other form of categorization. Anyone have any comments or suggestions? For now I'll categorize Wagner operas under "Operas (other)". --Feldmahler 03:59, 30 June 2006 (CDT)

Capitalization of opera titles

Greetings from the Wikipedia Opera Project (where I have the same username). This is my first visit. I have noticed that that the capitalization of opera titles seems to be a problem (consistency, choice of system). We have done a lot of work on this on Wikipedia (we list nearly a thousand operas) and I wonder if I can help? -- Kleinzach 22:37, 31 May 2007 (EDT)

Can you give a few examples of the capitalization issue (I just want to see a few examples to be sure of what it means)?
And yes, IMSLP would love to have contributors who can fix inconsistencies and stylistic issues in the library :) --Feldmahler 04:46, 1 June 2007 (EDT)
The two Ravel operas: L'enfant et les sortilèges and L'Heure Espagnole. The former is how we do it on Wikipedia - following the French capitalization style as used by Grove. -- Kleinzach 06:25, 4 June 2007 (EDT)

Japanese translation

Could you put Japanese translation into "Genre Criteria" section using "#iflang:" like below?

{{#iflang:

== Genre Criteria ==
This genre includes all types of opera. Oratorios are not included and can be found in the [[:Category:Vocal_(non-operatic)|Vocal (non-operatic)]] genre.
[[Browse_by_genre|Browse all four main genres]]
