Kursiver Text Russian cellist, born about 1870. Graduated from St. Petersburg conservatory after studying cello with Davidov and composition with Lyadov. Founded his own cello school in St. P in 1890, and in 1898 started a monthly music magazine "The Cellist". Wrote many cello arrangements.
