Cello Sonata, G.16, E-flat major (Boccherini, Luigi)
Arrangements and Transcriptions
For Cello and Piano
Rochester, NY: University of Rochester, 1942.
This file is part of the Sibley Mirroring Project.
Edition begins at p.38. The first movement is borrowed from Cello Sonata, G.11, and the final two movements are borrowed from Cello Sonata, G.16. This combination is found already in 18th century manuscript copies and may well go back to Boccherini himself, or even represent the original form of the sonata G.16 (the cello sonatas of Boccherini are usually in 3 movements)
