Introduction
This is not a traditional IMSLP project. There is no need to sign up, and to participate the only thing you need to do is use the "Upload from Sibley" link on the corresponding work page for a file on Sibley. Participating in this project is, in fact, much easier than actually submitting scores via the traditional method: you do not have to upload anything, and most of the information is already filled out for you.
Participation is strongly encouraged for both new and seasoned users. Simply find a Sibley score not submitted to IMSLP (should be plenty) and submit it via the special link to the correct IMSLP work page. The main page for Sibley's collection is here.
One efficient method (though by no means the only method) may be to find scans on Sibley by a single composer, and check if any of the scans are not submitted to IMSLP. If you finish a composer, you might want to add it to the list at the bottom of this page. If you have any suggestions or comments, please put them on the talk page.
Background
Sibley Music Library has asked us to mirror all of their online archive, including prospective items created as a result of a recent grant. However, completely automatic mirroring is impossible because the computer does not know which work page a Sibley file goes on. Therefore this project is created with the intention that IMSLP users can supply this information, with almost all of the other file and publication information (excluding only file descriptions, which should be straightforward) being supplied by Sibley's web page. Also, please make sure that the work being uploaded is public domain in Canada. Some of Sibley's archive is only public domain in the U.S. and will be deleted if uploaded.
