Flute Sonata, Op.50 (Hummel, Johann Nepomuk)
Scores and Parts
Bonn: Simrock, n.d. (ca.1820s). Plate 1430
#179457-- The violinist's fingerings in the flute/violin part are of uncertain origin, whereas the fingerings in the piano part are also found in the Schlesinger edition (see #181171 below). Processed for readability in letter size by JDH.
Locarno: Edizioni Pegasus, 1965. Catalog PEG 6124.
Co-issue - Wilhemshaven: Heinrichshofen's Verlag.
A separate flute/violin part [not scanned] is part of the edition. "Herausgeber" Dieter Sonntag writes in the Preface: "...The edition appears [as] in the original text; merely the note representation has been modernized. The fingering remains in the original..." It is therefore a 'scientific' edition whose copyright ended by 1990 or earlier. The lack of editing put it in the public domain from the outset in the USA.
