Reviewed, as op.posth.1, in the June 28 1820 issue of AZM, starting page 449. F. Lehritter acknowledged as editor/publisher (who presumably brought the posthumous work into publishable shape.) (Though from the music examples, in D and in G major it seems from the incipits provided, maybe another work is being spoken of. Ah, I think I see what may be the problem. The work uploaded here just has "Op. Posth." whereas there are at least 2 other Op.Posth. trios by Sterkel edited by Lehritter?, numbered Op.Posth. 1 and 2 in AMZ, neither of which is this one. Where did you get "Op.Posth. 1" from though? :) ...- Schissel
The first page of the piano part basically seems to say Op. Posth.1.3- as in, 3rd of the first set of posthumous works.
