History

This firm started in Hameln (Hamelin) a town on the river Weser in North Germany in 1876 and published a wide variety of music, from sacred choral works to dances for piano (Oscar Morley)and comic solo songs (Louis Kron). Other composers include Albert Becker and Carl Reinecke. There was also a branch in London named Oppenheimer Brothers.
