Heya guys :D
While uploading scores from the MIT project, I've come across some composers on which I can't find any information whatsoever. I am talking about not even finding birth-death dates.
Here are the names:
H:
L:
O:
P:
I've spent hours on google looking for info on all of them and I haven't found anything, so don't expect that finding info on these composers is going to be easy. I just don't have access to any kind of musical library at the moment, so if you do please search for some of these composers if you can.
I have written "Need help with info" next the each composer's name, and made the name and text in bold so that it is noticeable.
Thanks for the help :D Take care! ~ jujimufu 13:05, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
Sokalski e.g. has an entry in MusicSack - b. 1863. If the same person and lived <97 years, then PD-Canada. There are two Protopopov s listed there (viz above list posted three years ago by Jujimufu), several more of some of the other composers - if no first names were available I can see this would be a problem... Further e.g.: Rudolf Gross might be Rudolph Gross (1857-1950, see MusicSack) - possibly though not definitely, admittedly). Also, list seems not really gone over with finetoothedcomb since 2007 - many "will not enter PD until 2008" lines and it's November 2010- here, anyway. May still be 2007 in different timezones :) Eric 05:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
