Published in Rotterdam by de Vletter in 1855, and in a new revision by Weygand in the Hague in 1877. Is this Breitkopf edition of the early or the later (revised) edition, and is date of composition established to be 1855 also? (Breitkopf published a reprint or edition of the 2nd sonata Op.19 in 1899 - Hofmeister's Monatsbericht (1899), p.66 - and may have done likewise for opus 23 around the same time??)

(BSB has a 1970 republication or edition - possibly edited by Martin Weyer, whose name is attached - by Forberg/Bad Godesburg besides.)

Recorded by Ursula Philippi in 1998 (released 1999) on the Sauer organ in Hermannstadt/Sibiu, Siebenbürgen/Transylvania (Romania) for MDG CD (CD contains Opp.11, 19, 23, 31). (And as one sees from AMG, some 6 other recordings also recently. - Schissel
