Extra Information The publisher offered 3 options for orchestra: "Full", "14 Instruments" and "10 Instruments". The "full" set might have included flute, oboe and bassoon in the list below. The 10 instrument set lacked the piccolo clarinet and the 2 horns. It's possible that the tuba part was considered an ab lib. part for the 10 and 14 instrument orchestra since publishers during this era didn't typically include it. Also, it largely doubles the trombone part.
