Navigation etc.

This is possibly incomplete. Grove lists the op.63 as being for various combinations, but they all include piano, which is not in this set. Further, the viola part in this set says it is for replacing a guitar part, and that it was arranged by Mr. Simon. The Grove instrumentations are:

  • clarinet (or flute), violin, guitar, bassoon (or cello), piano
  • flute, cello, piano
  • violin, clarinet, bassoon, piano

These parts would therefore appear to be from the first instrumentation, i.e. a quintet, but missing the violin and piano parts. All three Grove versions have been tagged.
