Theodor Prusse (1873-1932)
Berlin: Ed. Bote & G. Bock, 1904. Plate 16924.
This file is part of the Sibley Mirroring Project.
??? This Bote & Bock edition by Prusse seems unlikely to have been published in 1904, the year of the L&K first edition; the plate number suggests somewhere ca.1909. (It is true that every library catalog agrees with the assessment here, in which case one can only suppose that Prusse was an extremely fast worker on one of the perhaps largest late-Romantic string quartets known to me (the other two comparable to this being Dvorak quartet 3 and Franck, also in D (major).))
Ossip Schnirlin (1874-1939)
Berlin: Bote & Bock, 1927. Plate B. & B. 16924.
In the USA this work is most likely in the public domain because it was published without a compliant copyright notice, no renewal was found after a thorough search of the Catalog of Copyright Entries, and was either ineligible for "restoration" under GATT/TRIPs and/or no record of an NIE filing was found in the online records of the US Copyright Office.
This file is part of the Sibley Mirroring Project. (Same plate as the above- how does it compare to it?)
