Misc. Comments

Elements of Movements I, II and IV are based on the Finale of Beethoven's String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat Major, Op.130.

(Who published it in 1878?)

According to Borodin and Liszt by (or translated by, or both?) Alfred Habets, pp.195-6, D. Rahter, I think (or maybe Jurgenson republished by Rahter? In google preview I can only see page 196, and only the second half of a sentence ending in Rahter- I am guessing what is meant). - Schissel (oh- no, it says ..."Korsakoff. (Hamburg, Rahter.) ..." that's less ambiguous.)
