Published as String Quartet No. 2 in D minor, for two violins, viola & violoncello. Op. 41. (not Op. 41 No. 2).
Oh, my mistake. There is a Op.41 No.1 (the fantasia for 4 violas); No.2 is a standard-instrumentation string quartet (I don't know if there is a quartet no.1 (ah, I see- Op.27 in G major) aside from the Fantasy Quartet for 4 violas- possibly also 4 violins) of 1907 op.41/1 - besides the later 3rd quartet in G op.46b.) Will make the move to 2 Quartets, instead.
