The sonata may have been composed from 1902-5 (see e.g. musicweb-international.com/classrev/2005/Aug05/Piggott_BMS430.htm) though some sources give 1902, first performed in 1905; letters by the composer or something more authoritative would be welcome though it's an inessential date for co.-purposes...
