Gašper Jereb (1985) has finished his accordion studies at the age of 14 and later enrolled at the organ compartment of the Music School in Kranj. There he studied organs in the class of Mrs. Barbara Pibernik and finished it in the year of 2003. At the moment, he is studying composition and musical theory in the class of Mr. Marko Mihavec at the Ljubljana Music Academy. There he also studies piano in the class of Mr. Tone potočnik. Besides that, he takes private organ lessons taught by Mr. Klemen Karlin. In order to improve his organ play, he took part in several international master courses lead by acknowledged artists. As a composer he devotes himself to both, instrumental as well as vocal composition. Nevertheless, his main interest lies in composing symphonic music for big or small orchestras.He is also active in various choirs as conductor, singer, conductor assistant and composer of coral music.He says: "I spend my free time devoting myself to numerous hobbies such as music, music, music … Music allows me to express myself as poet, painter, writer and actor as well as, in my most intimate moments, an ordinary man during his prayers".
