I'm not the composer and I have not a written permission to publish scores of W. Zytowitsch. I play alto and I just want to publish some information about the composer W. Zytowitsch:
Zytowitsch, Wladimir Iwanowitsch (born 6.08.1931 in Leningrad) -
Wladimir Zytowitsch finished his studies at Leningrad Conservatoire in the year 1958. He published: Sinfonietta, Symphonie, Symphonic Pictures "Pochoschdenije brawowo soldata Schwejka", Concerto for Piano, Concerto for Alto and Chamber Orchestra, Concerto for Guitar and Chamber Orchestra, "Triptich" for Alto and Piano, Suite for Piano and more.
- Hi AcisEgis. The principal purpose of IMSLP is to make scores available, and therefore it's against site policy to have a composer represented with information only. If there are no compositions, editions, or arrangements by someone, s/he should not have a category on the site. - I second this last recommendation, a good article on one of the Wikipedias (there are ones in many languages, all distinct though connected by links and part-ownership by Wikimedia, I believe but am not sure... so really it's more "Wikipedias" than Wikipedia) could be a good idea (we - I edit/am an admin on the English-language one myself- have our rules about good subjects for articles but better to try, I think, in whichever language one you are most comfortable in (if English is your native tongue, go to en.wikipedia.org - if not, actually the biography section of de.wikipedia.org is in my opinion even better, I used to 'borrow' from it regularly ;) ... ) Eric 15:15, 25 January 2011 (UTC) (although I should add hopefully needlessly - read up on sourcing material before you contribute there- a brief biography that can be shown to be taken directly from someone else's website, even if they're both from another source - say, a biography of the composer - but still long enough not to be fair use - will be speedily deleted. Biographies on that site are, generally, paraphrased brief excerpts from several sources, more-or-less.
