User talk:GothicRecitals

Dear GothicRecitals,

You need to add work pages to a composer category in order to upload files properly here. The category you created for Cherlitsky (this transliteration is used in the Biographical Dictionary of Russian/Soviet Composers by Feofanov and Ho) is not a composer category at all. I will take care of transferring all the info you've put in. Also, the file uploaded is of a transcription of a Bach piece, so it should be added to the work page of the Bach original. Do you happen to know which Prelude in A minor this is? PS: You have to go to the work page for the Bach original to add the Cherlitsky arrangements by using the "Add a score file to this page" link. Do not use the "uplaod file" link in the left sidebar, as this is there to upload pictures and other files which do not go normally on work-pages. Obviously, you will need to find the page for the Bach originals first. PS: It is considered very rude to blank your talk page when an admin of the site places a comment here. Cherlitsky Biography

I have copied and placed what you wrote on the new page HERE. I did some minor editing and correction of bad English syntax to make it more readable. Let me know what you think. Carolus 05:09, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

I didn't like your editing - (bad English) plus I didn't want to create Cherlitzky page - there is no such a person. He is Tscherlitzky.

The transliteration used by Feofanov and Ho is Cherlitsky. Tscherlitzky is a German transliteration, but we might end up using it anyway as there is nothing found in the LOC name authority DB on this. If you continue to act in a rude and disrespectful manner, you will be banned from this site in very short order. Your English bio is not very readable to a native English speaker, but I will copy it onto the page anyway. Do not blank pages. Consider this a warning.
