Dear Grimbald

Welcome to IMLSP. The work by Fontana you posted contain a copyright notice Jacek Kurzidlo. Are you him or do you have permission from the editor? In the former case, you can not choose public domain as a license but one of the creative commons licences.

Thank you, Peter talk 14:16, 3 August 2008 (EDT)

SzarzyƄski

Dear Grimbald, the sonata you just uploaded is a new typeset or edition that has been done in Sibelius or Finale. Are you the person who created this? If not, do you have the permission of the person who is responsible for this edition? Please read through our guidelines for contributors. We will have to delete these unless you are the one who created them or have permission. Thanks, Carolus 17:21, 3 August 2008 (EDT)

Please reply here by clicking on "edit" on top of this page. If you do not speak English, use "Google Translate". --Peter talk 17:31, 3 August 2008 (EDT)

Dear all :)

All music I upload is created by me in Sibelius. What can I do next time in order to avoid such unclear situation?

Thanks, Grimbald

Thanks, Grimbald. Simple - just list yourself as the editor and as the publisher. Putting files up on IMSLP constitutes publication under the legal definitions of the term in many countries, including Canada. Also choose "Typeset" instead of "Normal Scan" as the file format. Doing this when you upload makes the copyright tagging very simple for us. Carolus 17:55, 3 August 2008 (EDT)

Ok, thanks a lot for help and sorry about the problem!

Best regards, Grimbald

User name change

Dear admins,

I was wondering if it's possible to change my user name on imslp? If yes, I'd like to change it to "Hyacinthus Cracoviensis", that's the nickname I've been using in my editions already for a while.

Thanks a lot for your great work here!
