Kodaly

Hi M.kowalski49. Unfortunately, the Kodaly part you uploaded had to be deleted, because he died in 1967 (less than 50 years ago, making him under copyright in Canada and the EU), and since the work was published in 1942 it's not even eligible for the US server. (By the way, I think you may have accidentally uploaded the exact same part to the page for Webern's Symphony - that had to be removed as well, because it was a duplicated file.) Bartok Viola Concerto

Hi M.kowalski. This work was completed in 1949 by Tibor Serly (d.1978), and is therefore under copyright in virtually the entire world. The part you uploaded has therefore been deleted. Thanks, KGill talk email 23:35, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Mussorgsky-Ravel

I am frankly quite concerned about what you have posted here. I would appear that you have uploaded parts for Arbie Ornstein's edition of Ravel's orchestration from 2002, which we absolutely cannot allow. I note a 2002 copyright claim on most of the parts - even though they appear in many instances to be corrected reprints of the 1929 Edition Russe parts. Curiously, there is no editor listed on the parts - just the 2002 copyright claim. It would have saved all concerned some time if you have posted a question about this on the forums. The edition is less than 25 years old, so we can't even claim it's an urtext which falls under the EU's maximum term of 30 years from publication (25 in actuality since no EU country has a 30-year term so far).
