Dear Mark Kreyn,

Welcome to IMSLP. As a composer, you might wish to consider which of the Creative Commons or similar license you wish to use here. In order to prevent people from copying your files and selling them on Ebay as part of their DVD of the "Greatest Collection of Music Ever", I recommend that composers use the Non-commercial or Share Alike versions of the license. We also have a performance-restricted license available, if you are affiliated with a performing rights collection agency like ASCAP or BMI in the USA. Best Wishes, Carolus 04:39, 2 February 2010 (UTC) (IMSLP Copyright Admin)

Blanking of pages

Hi! Since you blanked the page Tarantella (Kreyn, Mark), am I to assume that you'd like this work deleted? KGill talk email 15:55, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Reply

yes, that's right. Additionaly I would like to clarify one moment. I have many different versions of one piece and each time I may need to update the file which is already uploaded to IMSLP. I was not able to find this option. Is it actually possible?

Yes, it's possible: under the download link for every file, you notice a small number (in the case of your work, #54791). If you click on that number, you will be taken to a page which has a link entitled 'Upload a new version of this file'. Just follow the instructions on that page.
I'll go ahead and delete your file now. Thanks, KGill talk email 17:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Replacing files

Dear Mark, You should be aware that you might not actually be able to view the latest version of the file you've replaced in your browser for a couple of days as it takes some time for the cache to register the change. If you notice the copyright tags revert to U/U/U upon upload, your upload has been successful. (We'll try not to tag them too fast!) Carolus 06:09, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
