Welcome

Dear Notenschreiber,
Welcome to the IMSLP! We would like to thank you for contributing.

Please visit our Contributor Portal to learn more about contributing to IMSLP.

The Tutorial provides you a basic introduction to using this site. If you wish to contribute music scores, you will find all the details in the score submission guide. In case you aren't able to find the answer in those pages, you can leave a note on the forums.

Please consider putting the Babel tags on your user page, to tell others which languages you speak. You can also use the Babel system to find users who speak a certain language.

You can communicate with other users by placing a message on their talk page (click on a user's name, and then on Discussion), just like I did on your page. When logging on the next time, this user will get a notification of a new message. Replying to these messages can be done on your own talk page, or on the corresponding user's talk page. Note that there will be no notification for the other user when replying on your own page. It's always a good idea to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~), which automatically adds your user name and a datestamp.

If you want to discuss something with the whole community, you can post a message in the IMSLP forums. For very important messages, please contact the staff directly via the IMSLP staff contact list.

Frequently asked questions can be found on the FAQ page.

We're looking forward to your next submission!

Publisher field

Hello Notenschreiber, Welcome back to IMSLP! One of the things we found out during the dormant period was that posting an item at IMSLP (or any other online site where they can be downloaded) fits the legal definition of "publication" for many countries, including Canada and the USA. Therefore, you should list yourself as "publisher" for your own transcriptions that you post here unless you've actually assigned them to another publisher. Thanks, Carolus 18:16, 8 July 2008 (EDT)

Blocked Items

Hi Notenschreiber, The reason some of these are still blocked is that they haven't been tagged by the copyright review team yet. Since these are all transcriptions and arrangements of yours, they are very easy to tag sinve you're the one who posts them. If you like, just put a listing of titles beneath this note and I'll go through and tag them all in short order, freeing them for download. Carolus 14:37, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

Here is the list:

Mein Schönste Zier (Eccard, Johannes) Erster Fleiß (Hammerschmidt, Andreas) Baryton Trio No.1 (Haydn, Joseph) Baryton Trio No.3 (Haydn, Joseph) Baryton Trio No.4 (Haydn, Joseph) Trio, Op.83 No.1 (Hook, James) Divertimento No.5, KV Anh.229 (Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus) Triosonate (Rosier, Carl) Divertimento (Vanhal, Johann Baptist)

Thanks Notenschreiber 15:02, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

All are now tagged. Let me know if there are any others. Carolus 20:04, 20 July 2008 (EDT)

List of Compositions featuring the Oboe

Hello Notenschreiber, I've started to edit the sites "Compositions featuring the... Horn, Clarinet, Bassoon, English Horn, Flute. They are all in a similar style now and it's easy to find some music if you are a group of let's say 4 people. I would like to change the site for the Oboe in a similar way, but I've seen you put quite an effort in that site, so I wouldn't do it without your permission. Just give me some feedback.

Best regards Roemerle

I was aware, that the "Oboe-Site" is some what different from the others, not without reasons. But a similar style is also important, so I agree to a change.

Best regards

Thanks, it's already done :) Roemerle 23:46, 3 August 2008 (EDT)

Mozart, K.487

Dear Notenschreiber, Nothing quite so fancy. One of our review team must have missed that you were the contributor, or just plain forgot to check the "permission granted" tag. It's fixed now! Thanks, Carolus 18:53, 4 August 2008 (EDT)

Symphony, Op.24 (Voříšek, Jan Václav)

Lieber Notenschreiber,
