Attempt at publication history. 1899 edition is in the Master Musicians Series (Dent), has 267 pages, "Chronological list of Wagner's compositions": p. 247–252. "Literary works": p. 253–255. 1904 edition describes itself as 3rd edition so assuming the 1902 one which I thought was the same is actually the 2nd edition. (Same 267, 247–252, 253–255.) A bookseller describes 1911 ed. we have here as the 4th edition- I can go with that. There's a 5th edition of 1921. - Schissel
