Extra Information The purpose of the Sinfonia series is to 1) accommodate ensemble size and part availability and 2) give professional/collegiate and/or community/high school/middle school players and vocalists the opportunity to work together in an environment specifically created to be accessible to all ability levels. The music is highly contrapuntal and intricate, allowing all to participate in sophisticated textures that communicate both vitality and contemplation. The music reflects the composer’s love of older video game music and an appreciation for the natural world. The manuscript itself reflects the composer’s love of Baroque music. I invite conductors and performers to add/change dynamics and articulations/slurs etc. ad libitum, insuring, therefore, that all performances are ultimately unique.
