Navigation etc.
Henry Hall (1656-1707) was an English composer known for church music and secular songs, dialogs and catches, and was a pupil of Joh Blow as was henry Purcell his contontemporary. He became the organist of Exeter as a teen and held the same post at the cathedral in Hereford starting in 1688. When he died in 1707, he was succeeded by his son, who was also named Henry. This suite is from the second book of The Ladys Entertainment.
NOTE: In that both the Allmand and the Corant in practice should have all the dotted the rhythms dotted. The alignment of the notes as shown in the original and the typeset reflect the score, not how it would actually be played.
