"In a letter written while Chopin was in Vienna in 1830 , Chopin refers to Świeszewski and his brother as the Lanner and Strauss of Warsaw." Also, it seems possible that Świeszewski was related to his namesake the artist (1839-1895) but clearly he was not the same person. (Someone -please- inform viaf of this, as they have the composer and the artist under the same viaf #, though the artist was born in 1839 and the composer was alive before then.)
