Marie Rose Henriette Pinon was born in the 10th arrondissement of Paris on March 17, 1875. She married Pierre Maurice Bertault (called Maurice), a pharmacist and amateur cellist, on June 19, 1899 in Creil, Oise. Their sons Pierre Louis Aymar Bertault (1900–1990) and Julien Maurice Bertault (1902–1985) were both trained in music, recorded as studying the cello at a young age; Julien would become an acclaimed organist and write in L'orgue. Her pseudonym was her mother's maiden name; her parents were Paul Émile Marie Pinon and Louis Marguerite Joséphine Eckendorff. She died in her adoptive hometown of La Roche-sur-Yon, Vendée, on November 11, 1959.
Musica et MemoriaThe following 1 pages are in this category, out of 1 total.
