German organist and conductor.
Born 1793 in Wohlau/Schlesien (now Wołów, Poland), died 1865 in Schnepfenthal (Thuringen); see Festschrift 100-jährigen Jubelfeier Erziehungsanstalt Schnepfenthal (1884).
From 1830 active in Carlsruhe/Schlesien as school rector and as 'music director' for Eugen Duke of Württemberg.
