actually, if Kuhlau and Kraus are German and Scandinavian (a good solution, I agree, rather than the contentious decision that they belong with the countries where they settled- but Krommer is Czech (Moravian) because he came from Moravia (though he settled elsewhere, I think? actually, maybe he is an exception, to be fair; did he actually -settle-? I may well be being unfair)... hrm. objection withdrawn before it began- still not quite sure how nationality is defined here but more sure than I am with the political fracas elsewhere. If German seems a bad idea (all I can seem to find out at the moment is that he spent a substantial amount of time in Bavaria), replace again with unclassified until more is known ...
