On the Lund manuscript, the composer appears to be "Sig. Quantz" (Johann Joachim Quantz), but he may well have been the initial copyist and not the composer. A Breitkopf catalogue from 1783 shows the incipit of this concerto and lists the composer as G. C. Fischer. RISM lists it as a composition by Johann Christian Fischer (1733-1800).
