• N.B. The following 4 pieces are quite different. They are for a guitar with 7 strings (4 courses, one of them a single string; tuning "A d fis h" is suitable) and the tablatures are not like the italian lute tabs with the lowest (but the highest) string at top. (Barberiis marked that with "Canto"). The usage of the numbering is as in the italian lute tabs. Possibly these pieces are the only 4-course guitar tabs in Italy in the 16th century.
