Composed for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Lapua (part of the war in Finland between Sweden & Russia 1808-1809). Later, in 1911, Kuula arranged the acc. for full orchestra. Not to be confused with the other Juhlamarssi (op. 13, 1910) !
