Henry Hall (1656-1707) was an English composer known for church music and secular songs, dialogs and catches. He became the organist of Exeter as a teen and held the same post at the cathedral in Hereford starting in 1688. When he died in 1707, he was succeeded by his son, who was also named Henry. This suite is from the second book of The Ladys Entertainment.
This suite, I think, recorded in 1996 by Jane Chapman for the defunct label Collins Classics (using a spinet).
