  • Although the manuscript might say bass, the range goes to E above middle C, making it more suitable for baritone, which in fact is how Grove Music lists it.
  • The oboe player is expected to double on flute (not specified as allemande, so probably recorder). The other flute part specifies allemande. Grove Music lists this for 2 flutes, 2 violins, continuo (probably this is more a semantical issue of whether a flute player doubles on oboe or an oboe player doubles on flute . . .).
