The two main collections of manuscripts and holographs of George Templeton Strong are found in the Library of Congress (referenced below as LC) and the Bibliothèque Cantonale et Universitaire, Lausanne, Switzerland (referenced below as BCU). Locations for manuscripts and holographs are listed below only for those works that are either unpublished or, if published, appeared in print as reductions or vocal scores only. Strong stopped assigning opus numbers to his compositions after Op.50 which was his last major composition before he abandoned music as his career (taking it up again around 1913) and became a watercolor artist in Switzerland. Unless otherwise stated dates within parentheses are the dates of composition.
